The Ancient Maremma Farmhouse<\/h3>

Originally, the ground floor of the farmhouse was used for breeding beef cattle, while the farming family lived on the upper floor. Agriculture was mixed: crops like wheat and barley grew between widely spaced vine rows supported by olive trees, long before the profound shift toward specialized viticulture.<\/p> <\/div>\n\n

A New Wine Identity<\/h3>

The estate was officially passed down to me, Michele Ventura, solidifying my commitment to the industry. This marked the definitive transition to specialized viticulture, initially supported by the vital contribution of the Cantina di Pitigliano.<\/p> <\/div>\n\n

The Organic Choice<\/h3>

Our philosophy, deeply rooted in sustainability and respect for the environment, led us to achieve organic (BIO) certification in 1994. Since then, we have strictly avoided the use of herbicides and systemic products in our vineyards.<\/p> <\/div>\n\n

The First Bottle<\/h3>

In 1999, the construction of our own internal winery opened a brand new chapter in our history. This culminated in 2000 with our first fermentation and the release of our very first bottled wines. That same year, we planted eight hectares of new vineyards, which were later expanded by three more.<\/p> <\/div>\n\n

Synergy Between Land and Vine<\/h3>

Today, the estate spans 63 hectares, blending harmoniously with the landscape through woods, pastures, and arable lands.
